Rules

The reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of the total amount for your stay.

DURATION OF STAY: Clients who sign a contract for a fixed period may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises beyond the end of their stay.

ARRIVAL: You must arrive between 5:30pm and 7pm. In case of late or delayed arrival, please inform us. Access to the accommodation is via a code that will be sent to you by mail.

DEPARTURE: The premises must be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure.

CAPACITY: The apartments have the following maximum capacities:

  • 2-people for La Petite Venise,
  • 4-people for Le Bartholdi,
  • 6-people for Le Koïfhus.

If the number of occupants exceeds the number indicated by the client at the time of booking, we reserve the right to refuse the additional occupants. In this case, any modification or breach of contract will have been initiated by the client.

PETS: Pets are not allowed.

NOISE NUISANCE: The tenant must avoid any noise that may disturb the neighbours, especially those emitted by radio and television sets and night stays. Noisy meetings and parties are forbidden.

NON-SMOKING ESTABLISHMENT: SERENITY COLMAR is a non-smoking establishment. In the event of non-compliance, the owner may request the cleaning of curtains and other measures to remove the smell.

DEPOSIT: A deposit of 750 euros will be requested  by credit card (SWIKLY) at the latest 15 days before the beginning of your stay. The deposit will be returned within a maximum of 2 weeks after departure, after deduction of any sums covering damage and/or deterioration to the accommodation and to furniture and objects in the accommodation caused by the tenant.

INSURANCE: The tenant is responsible for all damage caused and must be insured by a holiday insurance contract for these risks. For your information, insurers often provide this cover at no additional cost as part of your home insurance.

LITIGATION: Any dispute or claim relating to these general booking or cancellation conditions will be brought before the competent French court.

INTERNAL RULES: In order to guarantee the serenity of the premises and respect for other tenants, please abide by our rules which you can consult by clicking HERE.

Here are some important rules:

  • The tenant will use the rented accommodation, furniture, and equipment peacefully and will be responsible for any damage or loss that may occur during the term of the contract in the premises which they have exclusive use of.
  • The tenant shall maintain the rented accommodation and return it at the end of the contract in a good state of cleanliness and repair. If items listed in the inventory are broken or damaged, the owner may claim their replacement value.
  • The kitchen must be returned in the same condition as it was found on arrival, i.e. tidy, the dishes done, the fridge and freezer emptied and cleaned, and the oven and appliances cleaned.
  • The tenant is required to empty the rubbish bins, to sort the waste, and to use the containers provided in the neighbourhood and in the rubbish bin located in the common area. Failure to sort waste will result in additional charges.
  • The tenant must inform all members of their group about the conditions of rental. The tenant is responsible for all members of their group. It is strongly recommended that each member of the group is asked to contribute to the deposit.
  • The tenant may not take any action against the owner in the event of theft or damage to the rented premises.
  • The tenant may not object to the owner inspecting the premises if the owner or his representative so requests.

IMPORTANT:

If the owner notices during the rental period that the tenant has violated these rules, the owner reserves the right to evict the tenant without compensation.

In case of damage, the criminal and civil consequences will be the sole responsibility of the tenant.
